At ProTech Appliance we answer the appliance repair needs of residential customers. We base our service on one simple idea: treating our customers as we would like to be treated. This means that we always deliver reliable, courteous service that gets real results. We know how stressful it can be to deal with appliance anxieties, which is why we are here to take care of them!
We continually go through training to ensure that we stay up-to-date on the latest appliances and technologies. We also implement customized maintenance plans and upgrades when possible.
We provide service for MANY of the major home warranty repair companies. The process generally takes between 10-14 business days to complete. The Parts process we utilize is as follows:
Have a home warranty policy? NO PROBLEM! We provide service for MANY of the major home warranty repair companies. The process generally takes between 10-14 business days to complete. Once the claim is filed with your warranty company our process is as follows:
- Our Dispatch system will automatically schedule your diagnosis and or repair in the earliest available time slot. ProTech time frames run 8AM to 12PM, 10AM to 2PM and 12PM to 5PM Monday through Saturday. Closed Sunday.
- Once scheduled our Dispatch system will alert you via text (provided we have a cell phone #) an or email (provided we have an email address). Please feel free to reply to this message for any changes you may need to make to your schedule. Again, our system automatically schedules for the EARLIEST time slot available at the time we receive your request. You may also contact our office at 281-676-3110 to make any changes to your scheduled diagnosis or repair.
- Technician will perform scheduled diagnosis and or repair. Our technicians carry very limited “car stock” simply due to the VAST array of appliances that we service.
- Once diagnosis and or repair is complete the technician has 24 hours to submit their diagnosis/repair request for submission to your warranty company.
- Once diagnosis and or repair is received in the office, it is submitted for authorization and coverage to your warranty company. This process generally takes up to 48 hours for response and approval of parts ordered.
- Parts are ordered. This process generally takes between 7 to 10 business days from the time of ordering until your parts are received.
- Once parts are received by ProTech our Dispatch system will automatically schedule your repair for the EARLIEST time slot available. You will receive notification via text or email of the scheduled appointment date and time. Again, if for any reason you need to request a re-schedule please feel free to respond to the text notification or simply call our office at 281-676-3110 to request any changes.
- Technician will arrive to complete your repairs.

From time to time the technician may require that the unit is defrosted prior to the repair for ease of access to the parts that need to be replaced. The Defrost process we utilize is as follows:
- Once your repair is scheduled Suncoast will contact you for “Defrost” prior to the technician arriving.
- Please empty, unplug and leave the doors open for a full defrost.
